Ukraine passport photo size & rules
Ukraine is the largest country located entirely within Europe, spanning the fertile plains of Eastern Europe from the Carpathian Mountains in the west to the steppes bordering the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov. Ukrainian passports, including the modern biometric variety, are issued by the State Migration Service of Ukraine (Derzhavna Mihratsiyna Sluzhba), which sets the photographic standard applicants must meet at enrolment centres.
The standard Ukrainian passport photo measures 35mm wide by 45mm tall, which at 300 DPI corresponds to roughly 413 by 531 pixels. The image must show your full face looking straight at the camera against a plain white or light grey background, with neutral expression and no strong shadows. Although biometric passports are often photographed on-site, having a compliant photo ensures you know exactly how you should look and that home-printed copies for other applications match the specification.
This tool prepares your Ukraine passport photo entirely inside your browser, so nothing is ever uploaded to a server and your image stays private on your own device, and it is completely free to use. Because photo rules can change, always verify the current official requirements published by the State Migration Service of Ukraine before submitting your application.
