Lithuania passport photo size & rules
Lithuania is the southernmost of the three Baltic states in Northern Europe, sitting on the eastern shore of the Baltic Sea and bordered by Latvia, Belarus, Poland and the Russian region of Kaliningrad. Lithuanian passports are issued by the Migration Department under the Ministry of the Interior (Migracijos departamentas), which sets the biometric photo specifications for citizens applying at home or abroad.
The Lithuanian passport photo is 35mm wide and 45mm tall, corresponding to approximately 413 by 531 pixels at 300 DPI. As an EU and Schengen member, Lithuania follows ICAO biometric standards: your face must be centred and squarely facing the camera against a plain white or light grey background, with a neutral expression, closed mouth, and both eyes clearly visible. Uniform lighting with no shadows on the face or backdrop is required.
This tool formats your Lithuania passport photo entirely in your browser, so the image is never uploaded to any server and stays private on your own device, and it is free to use. As requirements can be updated, always verify the current official rules from the Lithuanian Migration Department before submitting your passport application.
