UAE Visa passport photo size & rules
United Arab Emirates visas are processed through the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) and, for Dubai, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA), as well as through airlines and typing centres. The commonly used photo size is 43x55mm, equal to 508x650 pixels at 300 dpi. The photo must be recent and show a clear, front-facing colour image of your face for the UAE visa application.
UAE visa photos require a plain white background with even lighting and no shadows. Face the camera directly with a neutral expression, keep both eyes open and the mouth closed, and centre the head so the full face and top of the shoulders are visible. Remove tinted glasses and avoid lens glare, and do not wear hats; head coverings are accepted for religious reasons provided the face stays fully visible. Uploads to the ICP or GDRFA online systems must be sharp, correctly sized, and unedited so the application clears the automated photo checks without delay.
Pixohub prepares your UAE visa photo entirely in your browser with no upload, so your picture never leaves your device and stays private, and the tool is free to use. ICP and GDRFA photo requirements can change, so always verify the current official UAE visa photo requirements with ICP, GDRFA, or your typing centre before you submit your application.
