Egypt Visa passport photo size & rules
Egypt visas can be obtained through the official Egypt e-Visa portal for eligible travellers or at an Egyptian consulate for sticker visas that require a printed photograph. The commonly used photo size is 40x60mm, equal to 472x709 pixels at 300 dpi. The image must be recent, in colour, and clearly show your face for the Egypt visa application, whether uploaded to the e-Visa system or attached to a consular form.
Egypt visa photos require a plain white background with even lighting and no shadows behind the head. Look straight at the camera with a neutral expression, keep both eyes open and the mouth closed, and centre the head so the full face and top of the shoulders are visible. Remove hats and non-religious head coverings, avoid tinted glasses and lens glare, and keep hair off the face. For the e-Visa upload, a sharp, correctly sized JPEG without filters or edits helps the application pass review and avoid delays.
Pixohub prepares your Egypt visa photo entirely in your browser with no upload, so your image stays private on your own device, and the tool is free to use. Egyptian e-Visa and consular photo requirements can change, so always verify the current official Egypt visa photo requirements on the official e-Visa portal or with the Egyptian consulate before you submit your application.
