Cameroon passport photo size & rules
The Cameroonian passport is produced under the Directorate General of National Security, the DGSN, which manages the country's biometric enrolment and travel documents. Applicants need a photograph sized 35mm by 45mm, taken on a plain white background with soft, uniform lighting. Your head should be centred and fill about 70 to 80 percent of the vertical frame, with your gaze aimed straight at the camera and a neutral, relaxed expression to satisfy the biometric capture. Cameroonian applicants abroad follow the identical specification, so a carefully cropped photo avoids repeat trips to the mission.
Make certain the entire face is visible, free of shadows, and that nothing such as hair, hats, or heavy frames obscures the eyes. The DGSN commonly rejects images with reflections on glasses, tinted or non-white backdrops, poor focus, or an off-centre pose. Since Cameroonians use their passport for CEMAC regional travel as well as international visa applications, an accurate photograph helps the enrolment office process the booklet smoothly and keeps border verification quick.
