Morocco passport photo size & rules
Morocco's biometric passport is issued under the authority of the General Directorate of National Security, known by its French acronym DGSN, and the accompanying photograph uses the standard 35x45mm format. At 300 DPI this translates to 413x531 pixels, a size that supports both printed prints handed in at local annexes and any digital component of the biometric enrolment process.
For a biometric passport the DGSN places emphasis on a clear, recent colour photograph captured against a plain white background under even lighting. The face must be centred and looking directly at the camera with a neutral expression, mouth closed, and both eyes clearly open, and the head should fill about 70 to 80 percent of the frame so it can be reliably measured and matched. Reflections on glasses, hair across the eyes, and dark or textured backgrounds are frequent causes of rejection during enrolment, so a clean, front-facing shot is important. The same portrait standard is convenient for Moroccan national identity cards and for Schengen and other visa applications that require a European-style photo.
Pixohub builds your Morocco passport photo 100% in the browser, so the image is processed only on your device with no upload and stays completely private, and it is free to use. As biometric photo rules can be revised, please verify the current official requirements with the DGSN or your local prefecture before printing the photo or attending your passport appointment.
