Brazil Visa passport photo size & rules
Brazilian visas are handled by Brazilian consulates, by VFS Global centres in some countries, and increasingly through the online e-Visa platform. The commonly required photo is a square 51x51mm, equal to 600x600 pixels at 600 dpi. The image must be recent, taken within the last six months, and show a clear, colour, front-facing view of your face for the Brazil visa application, whether uploaded online or attached to a consular form.
Brazil visa photos require a plain white background with even lighting and no shadows behind the head. Your face should be centred and take up an appropriate share of the square frame, looking directly at the camera with a neutral expression and mouth closed. Both eyes must be open and visible, hair should not cover the face, and glasses that create glare or tinted lenses should be removed. Hats and non-religious head coverings are not allowed. For the e-Visa upload, a correctly sized, sharp, unedited JPEG helps prevent processing delays.
Pixohub prepares your Brazil visa photo 100% in your browser with no upload, so your image never leaves your device and stays private, and the tool is free. Brazilian visa photo standards through consulates, VFS Global, and the e-Visa system can change, so always verify the current official Brazil visa photo requirements with the relevant consulate or e-Visa portal before you submit.
