Macau passport photo size & rules
The Macau SAR passport is issued by the Identification Services Bureau, known locally as DSI, which handles identity documents for residents of the Macao Special Administrative Region. A standard passport photo is 35mm wide by 45mm high, taken from the front with the applicant looking directly into the camera. The head should sit centred in the frame and measure roughly 32mm to 36mm from chin to the top of the head, so the face is large and clearly recognisable when the document is inspected.
As Macau passport holders travel widely with visa-free or visa-on-arrival privileges, the photo must meet crisp international expectations. DSI requires a plain white background with even lighting and no shadows, a neutral expression with the mouth closed, and both eyes open and unobstructed by hair or frames. Colours should be natural, the print free of creases or ink marks, and the applicant should avoid tinted lenses; head coverings are only accepted where worn for religious reasons that still leave the full face exposed.
Pixohub composes your Macau passport photo entirely within your browser, with nothing uploaded to a server, so your image never leaves your device and remains private, and the tool costs nothing to use. Because official rules can be adjusted, always double-check the current requirements with the Identification Services Bureau (DSI) before printing your photo or handing it in with an application.
