Bahrain passport photo size & rules
Bahrain issues passports and national identity cards through the Information and eGovernment Authority, working with the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA), which manages biometric enrollment and travel document issuance. The required passport photograph measures 35 by 45 millimetres, and at 300 dpi it prints to a crisp image of roughly 413 by 531 pixels. Face the camera directly, hold a neutral expression with the mouth closed, and keep both eyes open and clearly visible.
Proper composition places the head in the center of the frame, with the face filling about 70 to 80 percent of the height between the chin and the top of the head. Bahrain requires a plain white background to give a uniform surround suited to biometric capture. Hats and caps are not accepted, while head coverings worn for religious reasons are allowed provided the full face remains visible. Glasses should not create glare or obscure the eyes. Because the Bahraini passport is used for visa applications and international travel, a recent, accurate likeness reduces the risk of processing problems.
Pixohub allows you to crop and resize a Bahrain passport photo to these dimensions entirely within your browser, with easy tools for aligning the head. Since everything is processed locally on your device, your photo is never uploaded and stays private, and the tool is completely free. As official requirements can be updated over time, please confirm the current rules with the Information and eGovernment Authority or NPRA before you print or submit your photograph.
